Curb appeal
Anthony Cokens and Jim Woehl work on forms for a new sidewalk and curb and gutter outside The Center across from the Rames-Bender Post 152 American Legion Hall Monday morning, June 8. Warm temperatures early in the week encouraged many to take on outdoor work projects. In addition to the sidewalk work at The Center, workers from Maguire Iron replaced the roof of the municipal water tower as part of a renovation of the structure. In addition to a new roof, workers are also sealing and sandblasting the interior and painting the tower. Though warm temperatures are expected the rest of this week, there is a chance of rain predicted for Thursday.
