April 21, 2010 - Menno Relays

John Woehl, Erv Ptak and Jim Woehl were recognized as honorary referees during the Menno Relays Thursday, April 15. The date marked the first time the event had been held in Menno since 2000. Jacque Liebl, activities director for the school, presented the three with commemorative plaques during the meet.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the Menno Relays at the finish line for the 100 meter sprint. Participating in the ceremony were current Menno Board of Education members Mary Schoenfish, Daniel Mettler, Kevin Edelman, Paula Munkvold and Jill Haberman. Also participating were former board members Larry Tolzin and Milton Handel, former educator Erv Ptak and school custodians Jim and John Woehl.
