Cold weather was not a deterrant for Sheila Spiering, left, and her daughter Dawn Spierling, right, Loveland, Colo., when they decided to walk their dogs Scooter and Chloe Monday afternoon, March 11 in Menno. Though the day started off chilly, temperatures eventually rose to above freezing in the afternoon, which continued the gradual melt of the ice left behind by weekend rain showers.
