Peace on Earth
A nativity adorns a lawn on Pine Street Monday morning, Dec. 21. Signs of the Christmas season were in evidence throughout the Menno community, with Christmas decorations popping up in several neighborhoods. And while temperatures have warmed somewhat in the last few weeks, there is still enough snow on the ground to ensure Menno will enjoy a white Christmas. Temperatures hovered in the mid-20s for highs last week and lows dipped to near zero on occasion. This week's forecast calls for snow near the middle of the week, with a near 100 percent chance for snow on Christmas Eve Thursday, Dec. 24.
