On the scene
Workers with TransCanada work Friday, April 8 to find the source of an oil spill near the corner of Highway 18 and 437th Avenue six miles east of Menno. Crews were still removing dirt on both sides of 437th Avenue south of Highway 18 as of Monday evening, April 11. TransCanada reported that workers had discovered a leak in the pipeline and were working to repair the problem. Work was expected to continue at the site for several weeks.
