Spencer, a freshman at Menno High School, posted a time of 18.03 in the 100 meter hurdles preliminaries, enough to net her 13th place in the 18-competitor field.

Despite the threat of inclement weather, fans of the Menno Wolves turned out to watch their athletes compete at the state level.

Austin Handel, a sophomore at Menno High School, heaves the shot during the boys shot put event at the South Dakota State B Track Meet Saturday morning, May 25. Handel scratched on his first two throws but managed to throw the shot 43-06 in the event, putting him in 11th place out of 17 athletes.
