Grim reaper
Earl Zeeb cuts corn for silage east of Menno Monday afternoon, July 30. Farmers throughout the Menno area and Hutchinson County could be seen doing the same last week, as drought conditions and excessive heat continued to damage corn and bean fields. Though temperatures are expected to cool later this week, the prospects for rain remains grim.
