Happy birthday, America!
Terri Sayler rides in the July 4 parade in Menno dressed as the Statue of Liberty on the float sponsored by The Beer Garden Monday morning, July 4. Over 50 entries from around the region made their way down Fifth Street as part of the annual holiday event. It was a busy extended weekend throughout the Menno community, with events kicking off with truck and tractor pulls at Pioneer Acres Saturday evening, the annual baseball game and fireworks Sunday night and the July 4 parade Monday.
