County voters choose to remain part of JRWDD, Simonsen retains auditor seat

Local Nov. 2 general election results include the re-election of incumbent Hutchinson County Auditor Jeanie Simonsen and the decision by voters to continue the relationship between Hutchinson County and the James River Water Development District. In the District 19 legislative races, Jim Putman was elected to the senate and Ed VanGerpen and Frank Kloucek were elected to the house. Clinton Bauer won the contest in the local James River Water Development District 9 race.
