May 26, 2010 – Fred Sayler

Menno native Fred Sayler practices the drums at his home in Menno recently. Sayler was recently inducted into the South Dakota Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Fabulous Apostles, a band with whom he occasionally performed that also featured Menno native Willie Bertsch. Sayler has played in a number of bands since the 1960s, though he reached arguably his greatest success with the band Showcase.
