Working while the sun shines
Combines could be seen in the fields throughout the Menno area last week. While farmers have made progress on the soybean harvest, the corn harvest is just getting underway in this part of Hutchinson County. The dry weather is expected to continue, keeping farmers working in the fields, with the possible exception of showers on Friday. Some experts predict farmers will be getting crops out of the field until mid-December.
