A break from the rains provided a small window for producers to get their equipment in the field recently, although more rain is expected in the coming week. Less than half of the South Dakota corn and soybean crops have been planted, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service. The forecast calls for about a 40 percent chance of precipitation for the next week and a half.
