The Menno High School marching band has hosted the annual Menno Band Day since the event's return in the 2000s after several decades of dormancy.

Local students helped out by selling programs to the hundreds of people in attendance from around the region at Menno Band Day last week.

 Tripp-Delmont was one of a dozen schools to take part in the music and marching last week.

The featured marching band this year was the University of South Dakota marching band, also known as "The Sound." The group closed the parade on Fifth Street and then held a demonstration and clinics at the Menno Athletic Field.
