New tower look
Workers completed renovation work on the Menno municipal water tower recently, completing the project with a new custom paint job sporting a maroon and gold theme reflective of the school colors of Menno Public School sports teams. Other work on the tower included sandblasting the interior, replacing the old roof with a new one and patching holes that needed repair. The tower, built in 1918, has been on the project list of the Menno City Council for some time. Maguire Iron, the longtime Sioux Falls contractor that services the water tower for the city of Menno, handled the repairs for the project.
