Eyes of the tiger
A flag girl for the Howard High School marching band performs with the band as they make their way down Fifth Street in Menno during the eighth annual Menno Band Day Friday morning, Sept. 26. Howard High School took first place in the C division of the competition. The band from Howard was one of 20 high school and middle school marching bands taking part in the yearly marching band competition and clinic that regularly draws over 1,000 students and teachers. The featured college marching band this year was the Northern State University band from Aberdeen.
