Delano Klaudt cleans the windshield of a semi as it fuels up
at Klaudt Service Monday morning, Aug. 25. It was a good day for outdoor
chores, as sunny skies and mild temperatures prevailed Monday, giving residents
a break from the hot and humid conditions that had prevailed. Forecasts call
for high temperatures in the mid-70s for most of the rest of this week, with a
chance of thunderstorms beginning Wednesday and continuing through the weekend.

print edition of the Hutchinson Herald.
