A miniature American flag waves over the grave marker of Leroy Heer, a Menno resident who served in the Korean War. The flag was one of dozens on display over many markers at the Menno Cemetery Monday morning, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. Dozens of Menno residents gathered at the cemetery for the yearly Memorial Day program.
