Visitors to the 2011 Menno Pioneer Power Show take in some antique farming demonstrations on the north side of the Pioneer Acres grounds north of Menno Saturday morning, Sept. 24.

Vendors of different shapes and sizes could be seen selling wares at the Menno Pioneer Power Show Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25.

Bill Stokes brought the featured tractor of the weekend, a Ford 8N. Ford was the featured tractor line for the weekend.

Volunteers were busy all weekend demonstrating various vintage farming techniques, cleaning up from those demonstrations or maintaining various pieces of equipment.

The annual flea market attracted dozens of curious shoppers in attendance at the 2011 Menno Pioneer Power Show Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25.

Various antique items were on display at the Farm Remnant Emporium at the Power Show last weekend. Above, a vintage advertisement touts the advantages of Remmington shotgun shells. Many such advertisement posters were on display during the weekend.

One of the featured automobiles on display during the weekend was a 1928 Dodge owned by Delano and Lavonne Tieszen of Freeman.

The large Corliss engine in the Steam Building attracted a large number of spectators at the Menno Pioneer Power Show this weekend.

The featured Ford automobile at the 2011 Power Show was owned by Bruce Anderson of Menno.

Various exhibits were operated by various sources of power, such as the serpentine belt pictured above.
