Girls fall at District 11B
The Menno High School girls basketball team ended their season Monday night, Feb. 21, when they fell to the Scotland Highlanders 67-44 in the first round of the Girls District 11B Basketball Tournament in Scotland. The Highlanders move on to face the No. 2 seed Freeman Academy Thursday, Feb. 24. In the early game Monday, the no. 4 seed Avon defeated No. 5 seed Ethan by a score of 51-36, advancing them to the second round to face No. 1 seed Freeman the same night.
