Bumper crop
Vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles converged on Menno's Fifth Street Saturday evening, Sept. 11, to take part in the annual Menno Car Show event, sponsored by the Menno Area Development Corporation. Hundreds of people filed through the street to enjoy the vehicles and conversation. Above, a 1962 Mercedes Benz owned by Tom Ulmer of Menno attracts admirers.

Food at the Menno Heritage Museum drew a crowd during the Menno Car Show Saturday evening, Sept. 11. Proceeds from sales went toward a new roof for the facility.

Across the street, people lined up for burgers and brats at the Menno Fire Hall, where members of the Menno Fire Department were also selling food as a fund-raiser.

A 1994 Ford Mustang owned by Cory Heckenlaible of Menno sits on Fifth Street in Menno during the Menno Car Show. The trophies in front of the car had been won at other car shows.
